Amazing Race

Well, not surprisingly, I've changed my mind about which teams I "like". The New Jersey team is now a favorite - the mom is still a little whiney - but the boys really seem to have grown through the process - the one son, who was always fighting with his mother, and is afraid of heights, had to tandem bungee jump with his mom - he gave her a big hug afterwards, it was sweet. And they did a challenge where they had to lift bunches of bananas, and the boys couldn't do it by themselves, but their dad (who is a garbage man) could - in the "confessionals" they admitted that they couldn't do what their dad does, and that they were impressed - it was really sweet.

The team with the younger children went this week - they played the game really well - but they had horrible luck - seriously, everything that could go wrong seemed to for them. Their coming in last really had nothing to do with the dynamic of their team.

The sisters from Illinois are still loud - in a grates on your nerves kinda way. The dad with the 3 daughters seems to be getting a little tired of the trip - he too whines a lot. The siblings are staying strong - and seem to be working well together. And then there's the Weavers, the family from Florida; they have made enemies with every team on the race - it will be interesting to see how it all works out.

I've also been watching the Martha Stewart Apprentice - it's watchable - I'm not really vested in any one contestant - but, so far, it beats most of the other Wednesday night programming - to my taste anyway.
