Actual Travel Plans
Will be heading up to New England for a friend's wedding this weekend.
I'm kicking off the tour with a short stay in Atlantic City - I'll be speaking at a PBI seminar Friday afternoon, and, as a result, I get a free hotel room at the Trump Plaza Thursday evening.
From AC, Suzanne and I will trek up to Connecticut, with concrete plans to fulfill the greatest pilgrimage of our lives (or, perhaps the last 4 - 6 years) and visit Mianus, CT. The (please allow the pun) butt of many a joke (and I mean many), we will finally be able to realize our dreams and confirm our speculations about the locality. I have been saying for years that everything is just funnier in Mianus, and now we'll be able to prove this theory.
We're staying in Norwalk, Ct - which is about 20 miles from Mianus - but also close to North Mianus, the Mianus River and Mianus Pond (did you know that there was a pond in Mianus? You do now.).
We're planning to make a full tour of the area and take many pictures.
Btw, the wedding is in Groton; also looking forward to that ;)
